Carrie Baker, Executive Director

Carrie Baker has worked with associations and various non-profit management and advocacy activities since 2001. As the director of legislative affairs at a Columbus lobbying firm, Carrie was involved in monitoring legislative committees and issues and directing events for associations and health care clients. Carrie became the director of project services for the public policy staff at the Ohio Manufacturers' Association (OMA) in 2002, and from 2004 to 2007, Ms. Baker served as the director of marketing and public relations for the Ohio Nurses Association (ONA) managing all aspects of communication, membership, website development, fundraising, press and events for a 8,600+ professional membership body. She has served as the part-time executive director of OSBHCA since July of 2006. In addition to statewide initiatives related to Ohio SBHCs, Carrie serves on the National Assembly for School Based Health Care (NASBHC) government affairs committee and is currently undergoing NASBHC training in SBHC technical assistance.  Carrie earned her B.A. in Political Science from The Ohio State University and her Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives in December 2007.
